We create hand made wood crafted items for sale and for clients. Our wood comes from naturally forested sources eg from fallen trees, wood from tree surgeons and some reliable sources of forested timber in the UK. All with the view of creating something that is special.

The techniques used in carving, turning and shaping wood are varied, from simple knives to lathes and sculpting tools. Decorating may include carving, piercing, colouring or painting.

Our galleries are samples of the sort of work we have done to date, but it is continually developing and new techniques are being used all the time so watch this space for developments. Recently I have been doing more complicated work these are shown in “Recent Work”.

Making products in wood is what we like doing and all of the items made are unique. We are not a shop or factory and rarely will I make the same item again – because I can’t get the same wood all the time and we like special/unique pieces where there will be nobody with a replica. If you require a unique gift for a special person or occasion come and talk to me and I am sure we can design something suitable.

In addition I am an approved wood turning tutor by the Association of Woodturners GB. I have a well tried introductory course and with this I can adapt and change to suit personal needs. Available as 3hr sessions or 6hr sessions. Let me get you started in woodturning.

In May our two entries for the Richmond International Woodcarving Show 2021 both won awards. The Three Lilies in lime wood achieved a Best in Division Rosette and a First place Rosette. The carved ash bowl The Leaves achieved a Second Rosette. There were 114 carvers from 12 countries and 240 entries a brilliant result.

Well here we are a year on and we are back in the first places again at the Richmond International Woodcarving  Show 2022. A first for the Seed Pod, first for the Boots and the art Deco the Swans also a First place.
